What Happens on a Half-Day In-Service?
For Students: Classes are shortened, and dismissal happens early (typically around 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM). Lunch may or may not be served, depending on the district schedule.
For Teachers: Once students leave, teachers transition into professional development or administrative duties for the remainder of their contract day.
