What is the plan for the newly announced Campus?
The Fairfield campus will serve as the new flagship home for our Al-Ghazaly High School (6th - 12th grade). Our continued growth necessitated a larger and more robust campus and the current building in Wayne is no longer a viable long-term option.
Why did you choose this property in Fairfield?
The IEF property search committee viewed and studied over 65 properties in North Jersey to serve as the new flagship home for our high school. The Fairfield property is slightly larger than our existing high school building and will allow us to move into a state of the art educational and recreational facility tailored for educating your children.
Tell me more about the property.
The Fairfield property is 4.8 acres and situated in one of the most accessible cities in North Jersey. It has been an active charter school for the past 10 years. It has 26 classrooms and over 20 offices. Externally, it has 180 parking spaces and ample lush green space for a quite and calming experience for our children.
Why is the IEF leaving the Wayne Property?
We plan and Allah is the best of planners. IEF team attempted multiple times to purchase our current Wayne building but it was not meant to be. This was a difficult decision and we did our best to find a new location that is still accessible for all of our students and families.
When will the Fairfield Campus open?
September 1, 2026, InshAllah. The property is currently a charter school who will vacate the premises at the end of this school year. This will give us ample time to transfer everything during the summer and be ready for a successful school year.
What is the current status of the Fairfield campus?
We are in the final stages of closing on the the property. With the grace of Allah SWT, we completed our due diligence and secured the bank financing required to complete the purchase imminently.
Can I visit the Fairfield campus now?
InshAllah, there will be an open house in February 2026 for all current and new families interested in visiting the new property. However, in the meantime we kindly request that you do not visit the property so as not to disturb the previous owner who is still operating the Charter school until the end of the school year.
What will happen to the Wayne Campus?
The Wayne campus is owned by Academy of Greatness & Excellence (AGE). We are in regular communication with them and this update has been shared prior to it being made public. Inshallah their plan is to operate an Islamic school at this property.
